The Irish have a saying that goes something like this:
There are two reasons in life to worry. One is if you stay well, and one is if you get sick. If you stay well, you’ve got nothing to worry about. If you get sick, you’ve got two things to worry about. One is if you’ll get better, and one is if you’ll get sicker. If you get better, you’ve got nothing to worry about. And if you get sicker, you’ve got two things to worry about. One is if you’ll life, and one is if you’ll die. If you live, you’ve got nothing to worry about. If you die you’ve got two things to worry about. One is if you’ll go to heaven and the other is if you’ll go to hell. If you go to heaven, you’ve got nothing to worry about. And if you go to hell, you’ll be too busy shaking all the hands of all your friends to ever have time to worry again.
So, really, there’s nothing to worry about.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone.
